I used to juggle:
- Raycast for launching
- Rectangle for windows
- Hammerspoon for scripts
- Karabiner for remaps
- Spotlight for search
Too much config. Too much drift.
Then I tried Assignee.
The Switch
- Ctrl + Tab became my gateway
- Assigned shortcuts for Slack, VSCode, Notion, Browser
- Mapped project windows with numbers (1 = auth-ui, 2 = docs)
The Result
- Less fatigue
- Less config
- More flow
Final Thought
Keyboard Zen is real. It starts with subtracting—not adding—tools. Assignee helped me get there.
